Charity W. Kamunya

Charity is the Managing Partner of the Firm and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She previously worked at Deloitte East Africa before being headhunted to oversee the tax department of a leading law firm. She currently runs a tax consultancy firm known as Par Excellence Concepts LLP.

Charity holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nairobi, Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, and is a registered tax agent in Kenya. She is a CPA graduate and is currently pursuing qualification as a Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (CIFA).

She has a wide range of experience in legal and tax matters, spanning over 10 years. Her knack for numbers and eye for detail make her a key resource in performance of legal and tax audits as well as due diligence exercises. She follows through with assignments and ensures tidy wrap-up. Her organizational skills and meticulous planning position her as a highly sought-out professional in structuring advisory, estate planning and statutory compliance matters. She shares her legal knowledge by conducting trainings.

Charity has a keen interest in emerging areas of law including oil & gas, smart contracts and cyber laws.

She enjoys gardening, road trips, lawn tennis and reading.
